The cartoons are taking over the make-up world

The latest collaboration to hit the shelves is the Smurfs and can you believe that they are 50 years old as well?  I wonder what their secret is, they look fantastic for their age 🙂

One of my favourite make-up brands from the US is Too Faced, it is so fun and girlie and I wish I could fill the top of my dresser with their complete range, recently launched their collaboration with the Smurfs and are only available at my favourite beauty store Sephora.

The Too Faced collection of colour cosmetics was inspired by Smurfette, the female character from the animated TV show The Smurfs. According to Too Faced\’s founder Jerrod Blandino, Smurfette was the ‘it girl\’ of the 80’s generation.  Hmmmm, not too sure about that statement!!

“She was the only girl in a village of adoring men who seemed their whole reason for living was to bask in her blue-tinted spotlight,” says Blandino.

The limited edition collection features a lip gloss, eyeshadow, liquid liner and face powder.

What do you think?  I think I prefer the Hello Kitty collaboration but still I think it’s cute … stay tuned for more collaborations, this is fun.
