A Sunburnt "O"

I’m loving this gorgeously vibrant cover from the latest issue of ‘O’ The Oprah magazine.  How gorgeous do Michelle (or Mrs O as I call her) & Oprah look?  The picture is not posed and they look so glamboyant in these solid bright colours for the upcoming Spring season in the US.

And with today being International Women’s day, I think Mrs O is the perfect woman to be representing today for me in her sunburnt colours.  You can also read about Miss Sandi’s thoughts on her post on International Woman’s Day, I think she has highlighted one of our biggest hurdles we face as women.  Did you know that IWD has been observed since the early 1900’s?

The big news with this issue is that Mrs O is the first person to grace the cover of the ‘O’ mag with Oprah.  In it’s nine years (yes nine years) Oprah has only EVER been her own covergirl. Next though, I really want to see Ellen on there with Oprah.

I’m lovin’ the plastic belt and Michael Kors outfit.  I hope no-one bothers about the fact that Mrs O didn’t show her arms in something sleeveless, puleese!

And this fun picture of Madonna is from 2005, I just loved the fun skirt and did you notice the big bright dots match the colours in Michelle’s clothes above?  It really has nothing to do with this post, I just loved the skirt and it had Sunburnt ‘O’s in it too :-)
