This is the cutest trend, once again Jill from Trend de la Creme brought it to my attention and I love her for spotting it. It took me all the way back to being a little girl who adored the magical world of Mary Poppins.
Everyone is jumping on the old fashioned carousel (or merry-go-round as we used to call it) and having a sexy, fun time it seems. Although this is not exactly how we used to ride our fancy smancy horses when we were kiddies!! The theme reminds me of our family outings each year to the Royal Easter Show when it was held at the Sydney Hordern Pavilion, Moore Park. And can you believe that the Royal Easter Show opens on the 9th April? – that’s just around the corner, eeeek!
I don’t really think that I will be wearing either of these outfits anytime soon but the door is not closed!
But I would pop one of these little carousels around my neck, in my ear or on my fingers – too easy!

You’d have to be careful wearing this ring, but it could double as your protector ring I would have thought!
And it all harks back to the original Mary Poppins, Julie Andrews – here she stands next to Jingles her Disneyland Carousel Horse on the King Arthur Carousel that was dedicated to her at the themepark’s 50th Anniversary last year. They wanted to honour her contributions to Disney over the past 44 years – yes that’s right, Mary Poppins came out in 1964.
