Fashion designer John Galliano‘s long awaited fragrance is finally available in Oz and of course I just love the styling and imagery.
The scent is a sweet woody floral described as a sexy contradiction by Galliano and is inspired by the English rose. Created by Christine Nagel, the fragrance uses aldehydes and blends lavender, bergamot, amber, Bulgari rose, violet and cedar.
The bottle, reminiscent of the Belle Epoque era, has been designed to resemble material draped around a bottle, recreating Galliano\’s famous reinterpretation of the bias cut, and topped with a gold G. In addition, Galliano has launched a scented bath/shower cream, body lotion and body scrub with macadamia oil and salt crystals. (Cosmetics Business)
This will probably be the closest I would ever get to wearing a Galliano dress.
Available from department stores starting at A$99
Update: I was very lucky to receive a bottle of John Galliano’s perfume from a very lovely twitter friend, and I am happy to report that the bottle is just heavenly and looks so divine sitting on my walk-in dresser top and it smells decadently glamboyant!
