My goodness, only in Japan would you see this … of course I love it ’cause it’s just so gorgeously fun and girlie but you don’t often associate Louis Vuitton with this kind of girlieness do you?

This girlie heaven is the Takashi Murakami and Louis Vuitton collaboration. For the release of the new Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami “Multicolor Spring Pallet” products, Murakami has rejuvenated the interior of the LV Omotesando store in Tokyo, which now sports the artist’s flower wallpaper and bevies of his trademark plush characters. The new products are a revamp of the wallets and small leather goods in the Monogram Multicolore line.

The love-fest started with the multi-coloured monogram collaboration back in 2003 with Marc Jacobs I think it was … remember? These are the revamped versions.

And they created this first designer and very cute QR Code which everyone seems to be talking about!

For the launch, Murakami also produced a cute little animation movie – Superflat First Love – this is a preview only:
Updated – here’s the full animated movie, awwww it’s so cute:

So it’s a cute and colourful collaboration all round and I want to visit.
