Twilight is taking over the world, seriously it’s in every conversation and now you can get the sparkly Twilight beauty look.  Twilight Beauty (a newly created brand) is launching their website soon (you can sign up to receive email notification when it goes live, it was supposed to be live on 17 August) and I have no idea if we are going to see the beauty range in Australia, but if I can find out you’ll be the first to know.  Twilight Beauty joins Twilight perfume, clothing and doll lines.  Will it ever end?

twilight-perfume_frameThey have created two lines; Volturi Twilight, named for a ruling vampire clan in the “Twilight” series, is aimed largely at teens and is launching the middle of next month at Hot Topic, Torrid and Ulta. Luna Twilight, a play on the moon themes in “Twilight,” is targeting older girls and teenagers\’ mothers and is launching in the middle of next month at Nordstrom and Dillard\’s.  Volturi will launch in November when New Moon launches.

These pics are the Volturi Lipgloss and I think the second one is the Mortal Glow Blushing Creme.

Below we have the Femme Fatale Lip Gloss, Crown Mascara and I think these are the Immortal Body Shimmers.

And these are the Luna Twilight\’s four Color Palettes. Each palette contains lip gloss, eye shadow and blush themed around four of the main characters in The Twilight Saga.  The Color Palettes, which will sell for $28 a pop, are split into Bella, Alice, Rosalie and Victoria color themes (they are pictured above in that order). The Bella Color Palette is “soft and subtle with nude shadows, warm nude blush, nude lipstick and the sheerest cherry red gloss.” Alice is themed “eclectic and spunky with shimmering blue and silver shadows, rosy blush and sheer hot pink lips.” Rosalie is “regal and refined with peach toned shadows, a coral blush and apricot lipsticks and gloss,” while the edgier Victoria is “bold and fiery with shimmering jewel-toned shadows and deep wine colored lipstick and gloss.” [Source]

Du Wop collaborated on the complete Twilight Beauty range and also have their own Lip Venom lip paint making an appearance which is based on their popular Lip Venom line.

I’m sorry information is patchy, but it’s a bit of a puzzle of information out there and I tried to put it all together for you as best I can.

So what do you think of this new Twilight-themed make-up? Is this something you would want to wear? Or do you think they’ve gone too far?

  1. The amount of stuff that you can by to do with Twilight is incredible. I would love to buy some of this as a gift for my daughter; she is a huge Twilight fan.

I know it’s just incredible the money they make from doing all these collaborations … wow, bedding didn’t know!

  3. I wrote a post about the twilight phenomenon and how they even have a ‘bedding’ range, [ ] – Now they have cosmetics! They sure know how to milk their fans for all they’re worth! I think teenage girls will love it.

  4. Gina says:

This would be something I would purchase as gifts. But I would sell it too. Make-up: i don’t see any colors I could wear with my skin tone.
