Turn up the heat

by Sassi Sam on 8 September , 2009

I am addicted to curling my eye lashes. Unless I’m mooching about on my lounge on a Sunday, my lashes have more than curl than Nicole Kidman circa 1983 (think BMX Bandits).

When I discovered heated eyelash curlers had been invented, I was first in line – but, well, I came away disappointed. They didn’t seem to have the same impact blasting my usual eyelash curler with a hairdryer had.

Until now, that is!

Oz beauty brand ModelCo has revamped its heated eyelash curler to create a new, super-deluxe Turbo Lashwand.

Its new double-heating coil reaches 60 degrees – instead of just 40 – and curls at the root of the lash, as well as midway, for a natural curl that lasts for hours. As well, the chic, ergonomic design fits perfectly in your hand, making it a breeze to use.

It also has an on/off indicator light, so that you know when it’s ready for action, and has an inbuilt lash comb.  (Celebs like Victoria Beckham, Cameron Diaz, Elle Macpherson and Sienna Miller are fans of the brand’s product). Sign me up!

Turbo LASHWAND, RRP $35, is available at David Jones, selected independents and www.modelco.com.au. Stockists: Ph (02) 8354 6700.

Love,
Sassi
