Prancing with Miss Primped

Last week I trotted off with my partner in crime, Amanda Cole, to prance around the David Jones Counters at Bondi Junction with my online beauty princess friend Zoe Foster.  You all know how much I luff Miss Zo and when you spend time with her in person (which I do at any chance I can get) you just fall in love with her amazingness.  She always looks so glowy and fresh and perfectly primped!

Anyway, back to our prancing … Miss Zo led us Pied Piper like around the beauty counters at DJ’s highlighting the upcoming beauty trends for Spring/Summer … her favourite trend that she banged on about A LOT is the 80’s trend.  And last night I tried one step of this new trend, no more apple cheeks but back to the swipe of blush on the cheek bones.  I’ve been doing the apples for a few years now and I love the apples … but I decided to go the swipe.  Apples do look better on me but the swipe went okay, just gotta be careful you don’t swipe too heavily!

Her highlighted trends are the colour gold (very big), brushed out curls, orange lips and sky-high hair.  There are more but these were key for me although I am nervous about wearing orange lips, I’m a Sassi girl and love my pinks.  Miss Zo also advocated sensible sunning through fake tanning and the importance of skin care.

Anyway, her little PRIMPED booklet is bursting at the seams with all these top tips and trends and if you haven’t been able to pick up a hard copy you can download a digital copy right here.  Go on, you’ll love it!

Oooops, I nearly forgot we got the bestest goodie bag you’ve ever seen, it was literally bursting with beauty bits and pieces … we don’t know what to use first.
