Rumours abound that costume designer, Janie Bryant, for Mad Men may be releasing a clothing line *swoon* … seriously is there anyone of you out there that doesn’t want to dress like Betty, Joan or Peggy? Come on, you do, you do! I love the era in Mad Men, so ladylike although I’m not a fan of the sexism in today’s world but in the show it’s cool it’s just in the script! 🙂
According to costume designer Janie Bryant, they might be in luck — there just may be a line of “Mad Men” clothing soon.
Asked by Glamour if we can expect to see a line of clothing inspired by the show, Bryant replied: “I’m working on some things right now & I hate to be so mysterious but I can’t really say! It would have my name attached to it though.”
I can’t tell you how much I want to swan around my home in a Peignoir just like Betty does, although I’ll skip the gun shooting during the day and constant smoking thanks!! The closest I came to finding one was this vintage design on Etsy, isn’t it just heavenly? We already have pencil skirts and tucked in blouses, so may be the Peignoir’s aren’t too far off? *claps hands with glee*
And just for the sake it, I’ve posted some awesome wallpapers from the show, if you want to download, click for larger size:
Are you a major Mad Men fan too? Can’t wait for next season, can’t wait, can’t wait, can’t wait!
