Cate Blanchett for December Vogue

Cate Blanchett for December Vogue

by Sassi Sam on 14 November , 2009

I have been patiently waiting for the inside images of Cate Blanchett’s photoshoot with Annie Leibovitz for Vogue’s December issue and here they are.  Her cover shot was much talked about, some saying it’s was ho-hum been done before.  To me she looks like an Oscar Statuette which makes sense when you see the inside shots.  She’s so regal our Cate!

This is why we love our Cate:

Cate spoke to Vogue’s Adam Green about career choices and her family:

On career choices: “I’m not very cautious or careful. It’s always been more about having a variety of experiences than any planned trajectory.”

On her family: “When the boys aren’t playing with friends, they can usually be found playing backstage. ‘They’re always engaged in the family business, so to speak.”

She’s really amazing. The “theater masks” picture is perfect, and the whole photoshooting worths buying the magazine.

Cheers.
