Last night I had the privilege of being invited to Covergirl‘s Christmas Cocktails with Jennifer Hawkins at the Boy Charlton Pool at Lady Macquarie’s Chair.
As most of my twitter followers knew I was really nervous going to this event as I was heading off on my own without a partner in crime. Of coure a comedy of errors ensued getting to the event, I was late, traffic, wrong turn, parking meter nightmare because they hadn’t switched over to daylight savings so were STILL on PEAK time (RUDE)! So on arrival first stop was bursting into the loo to pull myself together and walking straight into Jen in the very tiny space (tiny, very tiny, the loo that is, Jen is very very tall)! I’m sure Jen didn’t appreciate my chatty musings over the loo wall as she was peeing, but I was nervous and she is my Coogee neighbour so we had lots in common! 🙂
Anyway, I had a wonderful evening and am excited to reveal the NEW look for Covergirl’s Clean Makeup line with Drew Barrymore fronting the campaign … ta da!
Covergirl‘s Clean Make Up range consists of the Clean Liquid Makeup (RRP$15.50) and the Clean Pressed Powder (RRP$14.40) and since launching in 1961, these two products are still Covergirl‘s top selling products year in, year out! (FYI: Slight price increase next year!)
So in the lead up to Covergirl‘s 50th birthday, Covergirl decided to give the CLEAN line a facelift but don’t panic the formula will remain the same and the fancy schmancy products will hit shelves in February 2010.
So what do you think of the new-look packaging? Are you a Covergirl fan?
