With a name like Lola, you don\’t have to be an expert to guess that this fragrance from Marc Jacobs is going to be flirtatious, seductive and provocative. Lola is Jacobs\’ newest creation and his own personal take on what it is to be feminine and sexy, or in other words, the Lola woman.
Lola is a tempting concoction of sensuous florals like fuschia peony, rose and geranium and succulent fruit like bright pink peppercorn, juicy pear d\’anjou and ruby red grapefruit. After the initial attraction, the base notes move in with a warming aura of vanilla, tonka bean and creamy musk.
This layered art of seduction is matched perfectly with the bottle\’s swirling layers of colours. This playful palette, in turn, comes together to create a sumptuous floral bouquet. Further down from this iconic cap, the bottle is cinched at the waist with a gold coil, where the bottle\’s silhouette follows on as if it were tracing the voluptuous curves of a woman. The bottle is finished off with subtly faceted glass in an alluring violet hue, that\’s both bold and feminine.
Perhaps showing that Jacobs understands the diversity of beauty, the bottle comes in the curvier 100ml bottle (RRP $160) and the more slender 50ml bottle ($120). The range also extends to a Body Créme and Body Lotion.
You will find Marc Jacobs\’ Lola at selected David Jones, Myer, Perfume Connection and pharmacies nationally.
