This post is massive lovelies … I meant to post this last week but as you know I’ve been flat chat and in bed sick so that is why I’m so behind on getting this post up.
I posted preview shots of the campaign images back in October and since then the collaboration has just gone ballistic. Seriously the Sonia Rykiel & H&M collaboration has to be the biggest collaborative launch ever! It was such an amazing spectacle and I would love to have witnessed it – can you imagine being there? Well we can watch the highlights on the video.
But here are the rest of the campaign imagery as well as product photography and some still shots from the launch which was held at the The Grand Palais. The collection has definitely grown on me, although I can’t imagine where I would wear the undies and bras with the big pink roses on them too, they certainly couldn’t be worn UNDER anything else! But we are in the Lady GaGa pantless phase at the moment, so may be that’s where Sonia Rykiel got her inspiration from.
The Grand Palais is one of the city\’s most famous buildings and was transformed into a Parisian fantasy land for around 2,000 guests, who walked through an enchanted forest before arriving at a recreation of Saint Germain, the spiritual home of Sonia Rykiel.
Seated under a specially made Eiffel Tower, guests were given a preview of the Sonia Rykiel pour H&M lingerie collection, which debuted in around 1,500 H&M stores worldwide on the weekend with the knitwear collection for women and girls, arriving in around 200 stores on February 20, 2010.
All pieces lingerie pieces are available at H&M stores and are on their website.
So what do you think lovelies? Are you wanting to online shop some pieces to Australia? Can we even online shop to Australia from H&M? Or do we have to resort to ebay?
Next up will be the knitwear collection when they are released!
