The Body Shop 1980s Originals Collection relaunch

The other week I headed off into Sydney’s CBD at the Dendy Cinema’s at East Circular Quay for The Body Shop’s 1980’s Originals Collection relaunch. The Body Shop asked us to select our favourite film from a choice of five classic movies from the eighties. While my choice was ‘Ferris Bueller\’s Day Off\’ and the ‘Breakfast Club‘, cult flick ‘The Goonies\’ won the votes.  It was hilarious to watch this youthful film as an adult!
The Body Shop is celebrating the relaunch of its\’ 1980s Originals Collection, when I was younger and was backpacking around Europe with my girlfriends, our products of choice to carry around with  us were from the Body Shop.  The great thing for us was they lasted so long!

But while these products were created in the 1980s, Body Shop\’s classics are enriched with Community Trade ingredients, packed into bottles made from 100 per cent recycled PET and funky retro graphics!

The Originals Collection comprises a fresh, fruity line-up of cleansers and moisturisers for face and body, and hair care products and will be available from 15 February 2010 for 12 months or until sold out.

Which is your favourite?  Mine was always the Carrot Moisture Cream!

oohh I love all these original products and packaging.
I’m not sure how much they changed between the 80s and 90s, but I used to get so excited getting things from the body shop as a little 90s girl.
The body shop and sportsgirl! haha
