The original cult classic Eight Hour Cream is getting revamped with a punk rock makeover for Elizabeth Arden\’s 1980s Celebration of the Decades Collection.
Eight Hour Cream was the must-have beauty product for the 80’s material girl. Eight Hour Cream did it all, from softening skin and cuticles to glossing lips and cheeks, and now we can relive some of the frivolity and neon-coloured excitement of the decade.
With the original formula of ultra-moisturising goodness like petrolatum, vitamin E and re-texturing beta-hydroxy acid, Eight Hour Cream smooths, soothes, heals and protects dry skin just as it did for our 80s sisters, but now its got a whole new rockin\’ outfit. In honour of the rebellious era, the packaging is highlighter bright, chaotic and surging with raw energy. Inside the hectic packaging is a frosted glass pot with a customised punk cap.
And for that extra tender loving care that our lips need, there\’s the Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15. It\’s housed in the same punk style packaging and comes in a screaming hot pink tube.
These products will be available from 31st January 2010 at Elizabeth Arden counters nationally. Both the Skin and Lip Protectant will set you back around $35 each, but the trip down memory lane comes free. 🙂
