Lady GaGa is described as the Icon for the Next Generation in the Vanguard issue of 944 Magazine’s January 2010 issue. Looking feminine and romantic and not too eccentric but I don’t know, Icon is a big call, may be in years to come we’ll call her iconic, this word is used too loosely these days.
What do you think about the label Icon for Lady GaGa or Icon in general, do you agree it’s overused?

I don’t know. Cyndi Lauper wore newspaper skirts and weird creatures in her hair way before GaGa. She stands out for sure, but icon? I dont even know any of her songs.
Before onbe says ANything abouty Lady Gaga, research her.. read her bio, LISEN to her music. I at first wasn’t a fan, but I did some research and heard every single one of her songs, and watched her perform live. And in true.. she is a GENIUS!!. Her being considered an iCon for the next generation, is a title I can see her owning. She’s not quite at her peak yet, but she’s well on her and way. She’s gonna be around for quite sometime. Or she atleast can if SHE decides to act right.
She’s a TRUE Artist, compared to all those other pieces off shit so called artist out now..
