Aussie Golden Girl of the pool, Giaan Rooney has been announced as the women’s ambassador for Aussie underwear brand, Jockey. Giaan joins star sportsmen, Australian cricketer Mitchell Johnson and NZ All Blacks Dan Carter.

And I have her debut Autumn/Winter 2010 campaign images to share with you. Photographed by celebrity photographer Simon Upton, the new collection comes in a range of camisoles, bras and briefs.

The Florencia range uses a modal fabrication that is gentle on the skin, feather-light and a natural skin hugger due to its smooth ribbing which adds stretch and movement and comes in Charcoal, Vanilla and this season’s hottest colour, Cherry. The bikini brief retails from $19.95 with singlets from $39.95.

The new Next Generation brief was also designed using a lightweight fabrication with a silicon grip applied directly to the fabric to ensure no ride up security. Available in black or dusk, the range comes in bikini $19.95, boyleg $19.95, full brief $20.95 and hi cut $20.95 styles.

Jockey’s Parisienne Classic range offers feminine stylish underwear shapes that have been designed with a gorgeous lace for everyday comfort and style. The contour bra $49.95 with lace detail, features a traditional t-shirt cup for perfect support and shape. Briefs are available in cheeky $16.95, bikini $17.95, boyleg $17.95 and hi rise $19.95 cuts and can be paired with a cami $32.95.

Also new for women this season is the Eco friendly Bamboo range. Made from a sustainable natural bamboo blend fabrication that is supposed to be even softer than cotton to keep you dry and super comfy throughout the season.

The Jockey Women’s range is available from Myer, David Jones and Big W stores nationally now.
