Natalie Bloom Launches Bloom Organics

| 25 March , 2010 | 10 Replies

This morning I headed down to The Commons in Burton Street Darlinghurst with my bloggie friend Marlo Perry, it was another early start but we were very very excited, Natalie Bloom was launching her much anticipated Bloom Organics range and it goes behind expectations of what would expect from Natalie and her team at Bloom.

Bloom’s new range is bursting at the seams with organic ingredients and ethical eco goodness.  Bloom Organics is a natural brand extension for our beloved Bloom Cosmetics, it’s an Australian brand that we have loved and embraced for such a long time (since 1993), I don’t know anyone who doesn’t have Bloom in their bathroom or bedroom!

As usual Natalie had a very hands on approach in the product development process.  16 out of the 19 products in the range wear the Australian Certified Organic logo (ACO), Australia is one of the toughest countries in the world for getting our products labeled Organic, it’s a very stringent process and products need to have at least 95% organic ingredients.  Why are some of the products not ACO accredited?  It’s because of the high percentage of organic ingredients required and some products couldn’t meet that because it had the potential to not keep the product true.

We all know and love Bloom’s packaging and Natalie hasn’t disappointed, the packaging is fresh, natural and eco-friendly as we would expect (designed by David Bond).

You will just love this range, it smells divine and the breakfast and styling of the venue was perfect, the attention to detail right down to the greenery!  And how gorgeous was the bicycle?

Once I’ve received some product shots I’ll post them but for now you have all my photos from this morning’s launch.

Thanks for answering my question – I love the packaging very very pretty and will look good in the bathroom – I display alot of packaged soaps and lotions in my mainly white and mocha coloured bathrooms and these will look gorgeous – must pop down to Chapel St store and check out how the shop is going and how the range fits in….

  3. Sassi Sam says:

I’m trying to find out if there is a list somewhere for you.

  7. Lacey says:

Where can I find an ingredient list for these products?

  8. Very exciting! Thanks so much for sharing about this. Your post is how I found out about it. I’m passionate about organic beauty and I’m always glad to see when a company cares just as much about their ingredients as they do their packaging. I love the look of it and that most of the line is certified organic by ACO. I hope you don’t mind – I wrote a post about this today, used one of your pics but definitely credited/linked back to you 🙂 I can’t wait to see the products in person!! xo

This is so exciting. I LOVE it when skincare companies decided to invest in organic. It is SO the future of skincare. Great for us, great for the environment.
