Candice Swanepoel: Agua Bendita 2010 Swimwear

| 15 April , 2010 | 6 Replies

The blue-eyed baby doll Victoria’s Secret Angel Candice Swanepoel is the face of a very unique swimsuit collection from Agua Bendita’s Summer 2010 collection!

This is the most whimsical and quirky collection I have ever seen and I’m just so in love!  Agua Bendita’s Heavenly Delights 2010 swimwear collection presents us with an array of tempting artefacts crafted with love!  Understatement!

Inspired by feminine temptations, the designers Catalina Alverez and Mariana Hinestroza have shaped their 2010 swimwear collection Heavenly Delights from all that is delicious and sweet.

Agua Bendita (launched in 2003) use exquisite European fabrics and hand detailing, pairing with their trademark bright colours and quirky embellishments feature – such as gingham, lace and sequins – to create this whimsical collection.

Stand-out styles are the Bendita Bodega Napoleon swimsuit which features a separate lace panel across the centre; the Bendita Ice Cream – a pastel printed bikini and the ultra feminine pink frilled Bendita Dulce Tentacion.

The very busy fabrics capture your attention, with quirky little accessories complementing the designs as well as a touch of cuteness added to the images, such as the little guy tightrope walking along the strands of her hair to the little birdy sitting atop of her shoulder!

Agua Bendita’s 2010 collection are available now from selected stores across Australia and online from www.aguabendita.com.au

Seriously the website is absolutely adorable and worth the visit and an order or two or three!

And yes, this post took me hours to put together, so if you use any of it, please be courteous and link back!

I agree – I really love the campaign – and the swimwear! But i can’t seem to find any (Melbourne/Australian) stockists, their online shop has been “coming soon” forever, and zakoda.com does not have this collection. Anyone have any insight?

I know what you mean, but I just love the collection from the visual perspective … man it took me hours to do 🙂

  4. Hmm, many of these are a bit (or a lot) overworked, but I do like some of the patterns.
