I’m so excited to show you a sneak peak at Kooey Australia’s upcoming Summer 2010/11 collection entitled Ningaloo.  I posted about them last year when I stumbled across the divine Australian brand.

Once again we have beautiful Aboriginal model Emily Cattermole as the face of the collection and exciting news for Kooey, they will be make their debut at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (RAFW) and I’m excited to report that I have been invited to attend 🙂

Also Miss Universe Australia 2009 Rachael Finch will also make a guest appearance to introduce the new collection double gorgeousness!

“The last collection was inspired by the red sands of the Kimberley region,” says Kooey Director, Nikki Silverthorne. “This season we have focused on the coastline which is such an integral part of Australian culture.”

Kooey’s third collection, is inspired by the colors and shapes of the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia’s spectacular Northwest.

The striking collection features modern Indigenous artwork from Anne Hanning Kngwarreye who picks up the vibrant greens, purples and blues of the landscape in her designs.

The collection’s campaign images were shot on location at the Novotel Ningaloo Resort in Exmouth.

The fashion-forward pieces are created by a design team with very different artistic backgrounds. The formula: an Indigenous artist, a graphic designer, a makeup artist, and a fashion designer with over ten years of swimwear experience.

The collection includes separates, one-pieces and resort wear in sizes XS-XL. The suits are made with pre-treated Lycra® ensuring the colorful prints have an increased resistance to fading.

Isn’t it just a gorgeous Australian collection?
