Being able to be at Jayson Brunsdon’s Australian Fashion Week launch of his Spring/Summer 2010 collection was so fantabolous, I really didn’t want it to end. Samantha Harris must be the hardest working model this Fashion Week, seriously I swear she’s in every show!
Back to the show, Samantha opened the show and the very chic Alyssa Sutherland closed the show for Jayson’s “Pool Scene” Collection … the collection was 50’s style poolside chic, it was elegant and oh so effortlessly chic! It made you want to pack your bags and get on a big bird and head down to St Tropez for some sophisticated seaside fun!
The 50‘s style full skirts reminded me of January Jones, the round ‘seashell’ sequins dress (and tops) had me picturing mermaids floating around their underwater gardens.
I loved the white cotton broderie shirt dresses ready for an afternoon of croquet, pimms & lemonade and cucumber sandwiches (and cupcakes of course).
I loved the simple make up by MAC Cosmetics, the slicked back hair with side parts and low long ponytails by Joh Bailey and his team (am waiting for some info and product sheet to come through, will update when it does).
I loved the sorbet palette of colours used throughout the collection right down to the Peeptoe Shoes for Jayson Brunsdon, they are must haves on my list!
I’m sorry, there just wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this collection, it’s perfect!
The end of show finale walk video …
There were loads of high profile faces in the audience, showing their support including John Ibrahim, (more Underbelly Glamour popping up in fashion), Lara Bingle popped up again in a gorgeous blue short sleeve dress, Charlotte Dawson and it was lovely to see Alex Perry sitting front row.
