The look for Sabatini White was about simplicity, a sleek and demure style to match the feminine aesthetic of the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Napoleon created a subtle colour statement for the girls, using foundation, a dusting of powder, a smidgeon of bronzer on the cheekbones and a blend of netural tones for the eyes. And like the Rachel Gilbert showing, although not as pronounced, were the “Brooke Shields” inspired brows.
Sabatini White’s Spring/Summer 2010 collection entitled “The Three Faces of Eve“was named after the 1957 movie about the beautiful Eve White with three personalities; Eve, Ella and Emanuelle.
Eve is a modern independent woman, strong yet feminine at the same time, she wears short sculputured dresses in pastel colours. Ella loves the nightlife, dark sultry music and wears long flamboyant dresses in blacks and silver. And then there’s Emanuelle who prefers lounging around her apartment in soft, sexy knits and lingerie in cream, white and lace.
Emanuelle was my favourite part of the collection. I could so imagine wafting around my apartment sipping a martini with Ella Fitzgerald on in the background while I pampered myself getting ready to go out to dinner with a very delicious and suave date. In Sabatini White we also see the high waisted knickers!
To get the Sabatini White look, the key products Napoleon used were:
- Prep: Auto Pilot Complex Skin Renewal Serum & Auto Pilot Pre-foundation Primer
- Base: Boudoir Mist Spray Foundation
- Contouring: Camera Finish Powder #5 or #6
- Brows: China Doll Eyeliner in Earth or Suede
- Eyes: Prismatic Eyeshadow Quad #4 (nude/taupe/tan)
- Lips: NP Set Lipstick in San Francisco
This was my first video interview with Napoleon and I do apologise for it’s very average but I have gotten better 🙂
