GIVEAWAY: Sex & The City 2 Companion Book

| 4 June , 2010 | 4 Replies

Last night I FINALLY got to see Sex & The City 2 courtesy of GHD Australia (check out their SATC2 colour collection) at Westfield Bondi Junction and it was so much fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the film, I was worried I was going to be disappointed after blogging about it and seeing too much information and images from the film but it was so entertaining and fun.

There were lots of laughs and clapping in our cinema (a cinema filled to the brim with girls and no I don’t clap!), there were some brilliant one-liners, over the top fashion and lots of yummy guys to drool over!  Yes the storyline was a touch weak but I don’t care, it was so entertaining and the time zipped past so quickly I could see it again!

And just for the record, I hate WBJ even more, I live 15mins away and it took me an hour to get to the cinema, I nearly missed the start of the film … so yes I missed the cocktails & canapes prior, it was gridlock everywhere and to get a park, good lord I’ve never been so stressed in my life!

Anyway, to celebrate the launch of the film, I have TWO COPIES of the Sex & The City 2 Companion Book to giveaway.  This is the book that has every outfit from the film listed and who designed it so you don’t have to go surfing around the internet trying to find the looks!

There’s amazing photos inside, behind-the-scenes stuff, interviews with the stars, exclusive photos of the outfits … definitely a must have!  You can even find out the brands used in their homes.  There’s tonnes of fun facts, including how they had to transfer Morocco into looking like Abu Dhabi!

It’s beautiful, it’s perfect for sitting on the sofa, with the heater on, hot chocolate and macaroons at the ready, some music on in the background, it’s dreamy flicking through fantasising what outfits you covet for your wardrobe.

To win one of the Sex & The City 2 Companion Books, tell me why you would love to get your mitts on a copy of the book and whose wardrobe you covet most!!

  1. Emma says:

    Dear Sassi,

Would absolutely love a copy of this book because boy do I need assistance in the wardrobe department. I think Samantha has fantastic taste for a woman of her age. She’s always so vibrant in her clothes and oozes personality. Nice one!

  2. Jody says:

I should add this little story about my bestie. She had a cabinetmaker come around to fix her wardrobes. He took one look at the clothes and asked ‘do you work in the theatre’ she replied ‘no, why’, he response, ‘so you just like wear these clothes normally’. We still laugh at this and yep that is just her normal wardrobe 🙂

  3. Jody says:

    Hey Sassi
I would give the companion book to my bestie who adores everything SATC. We saw SATC2 together and loved it. She is a Carrie girl with a bit of Samantha thrown in as well. Her wardrobe would make Carrie and the girls jealous. She’s already told me we have to see it again as she can’t remember all of the outfits but alas I reckon she does but she just loved it so much.
We both loved the beginning 80s flashbacks and got lots of giggles from remembering our own wardrobes of that era.
It was a great movie and I know she’ll be searching the net and your site this weekend to find the outfits.

  4. Kelly Smith says:

I NEEEED this book because I have the previous film companion and it’s LOVE.
I think I lust over an equal portion of both Carrie and Charlotte’s wardrobes tbh! Charlotte is the classic Chanel girl, but Carrie knows how to jazz it up. Love the both of them.
Ugh seriously can’t wait to see the outfits.
I’m so glad you liked it – i’ve been dreading going because of alot of the bad reviews! Suddenly pumped now for wine + dinner + movies tonight! 🙂
