Vogue Korea: Body Talk Swimsuit Editorial July 2010

| 20 June , 2010 | 2 Replies

Vogue Korea’s July 2010 issue has Natasha Poly on the cover photographed by Mario Sorrenti with another swimsuit editorial. Have you noticed that the Korean editorials have no nudity?  This is the swimsuit editorial they did in their June 2010 issue, high end fashion with no nudity!

I’m thinking this is one of the reasons why I’m loving the Korean editorials, there’s no nudity and it’s such a refreshing change.  I’m no prude (have been accused of that before), it’s just that nudity is everywhere and the editorials are supposed to be about fashion!

Titled “Body Talk” the model wears Gucci, Agent Provocateur, Adidas by Stella McCartney, Gucci and Dior.  Ahh refreshing!

Thanks for that, I love hearing other people’s interpretations and explanations, as I said I’ve become obsessed with the Korean editorials.

I guess the readers of Korean Vogue are too young to realise that this is an homage to the character Zhora in Ridley Scott’s ‘Blade Runner’, released in 1982.
