Deshabille brings us a Spring/Summer Collection inspired by warm Indian nights and long days at a rustic beach house on the French Riveria, having us longing for balmy summer nights again.
The French Quarter collection is a little bit Frenchie and a lot of chic. Classic engineered riviera stripes are mixed with navy, grey marle, scarlet and crisp whites to cast you away to a place where white jetty\’s, iced latte\’s and summer salads are all just part of the days work. Including a full range of sleep separates in prints inspired by St Tropez and Paris in the Spring, as well as bamboo blend jerseys that have been engineered to transcend from day to night, the French Quarter collection is the ultimate in glamorous lounge wear.
The French Quarter Collection will take you from beach to bar, with it’s nice mix of maxi dresses, beach pants & dresses, camisoles, wrap skirts and lightweight sweaters in nautical prints for when the ocean breeze becomes chilly.
The Indian Summer collection features sleep sets made from 100% broderie cottons, pointelle bamboo knits and prints that resemble the Taj Mahal sunset, in the form of florals and sunset stripes. The woven cottons are a mixture of sateen\’s and voiles used in the sleepshorts, pants and robes are softened and ready to wear. With a hint of embellishment you would expect from the Bombay markets, the Indian Summer collection entices the soul in anticipation of the balmy summer nights ahead.
Designed by Deshabille designer Roslyn Bellerby, both collections ooze romance and summer fun with Roslyn once again creating a covetable, well-rounded resort wear collection that I want to pack quickly and head to warmer climes on a dreamy getaway.
And exciting news for Deshabille’s international expansion plans, they have been invited to participate in the prestigious CURVE NEW YORK exhibition.
The Deshabille Resortwear Collection is available from August 2010 in leading boutiques across Australia, and online at www.deshabille.com.au.
