Helena Christensen was enlisted by world renowned photographer Rankin to model the final 27 designs that have been shortlisted in the Triumph Inspiration Award competition 2010.

Inaugurated in 2008, the annual Triumph Inspiration Award (TIA) challenges fashion design students from all over the world to use their talent, artistic vision and inspiration to conceptualize and design a unique lingerie showpiece for the year\’s design theme.

Excitingly, we have an Australian entrant (design above), Tovah Cottle of MSIT with her design ‘Body Architecture‘ as chosen by Woman\’s Day Fashion Director Jo Ferguson, Lingerie Buyer for David Jones, Angela Favaloro, owner of modeling agency Chic Management, Ursula Hufnagl and Triumph Australia National Sales Manager Karen Ashley back in May this year.

Each showpiece will be judged by a panel including Matthew Williamson and Rankin himself.  The public (yes us) can vote for our favourite design at www.triumph-inspiration-award.com and one lucky voter will win an all-expenses-paid trip to London to watch the Grand Final on the 16th September.  We have until the 31st August to get our votes in.

The Design Theme for 2010 was “Shape Sensation”, a tribute to shapes and curves with the ‘ideal’ shape varying from person to person, culture to culture and era to era.

So let’s get voting for Tovah and her award winning design at:  www.triumph-inspirationaward.com.
