US champion racehorse, Big Brown, arrived In Australia for the first time earlier this week (16th August) and a high tea was held in his honour at the Inglis Stables in Randwick with Rachael Finch, Alexandra Agoston and Kate Waterhouse on hand to welcome him.
The 2008 Kentucky Derby winner, reportedly worth $67M and described as one of the greatest racehorses to grace the tracks this decade was brought to Australia by John Singleton bought on a whim at a dinner party in the US.
John Singleton said Big Brown managed to capture the hearts of America and he was about to do the same in Australia.Â “Big Brown is no ordinary horse â€“ he\’s one of the greatest champions of our time,” he said.
What a lucky horse to get all that fanfare for his arrival, he’s off to the stud farm now to a bevy of horsing beauties, a very lucky horse indeed!
