Elizabeth Arden has teamed up with Ring Pop creators, Topps Candy Company to launch world-renowned performing artist Mariah Carey\’s Lollypop Bling: a trio of delectable scents inspired by the classic Ring Pop will be on counters in Australia at the end of this week.
Many of us gossip loving girls would be aware that when pop diva Mariah Carey got engaged to Nick Cannon in 2008, he presented her with a giant Ring Pop disguised as an engagement ring. It was a huge, delicious, 17 carat rock that demanded attention and screamed ‘look at me\’. Mariah has used this life experience as inspiration for her new range of scents – Lollypop Bling.
The range consists of a trio of fun, flirty fragrances aimed at evoking the sensory pleasure of scrumptious candy. The first fragrance, Mine Again, is a rich, chocolate and raspberry concoction with hints of magnolia to give it an even more alluring quality.
Ribbon is inspired by the blue raspberry flavoured Ring Pop and is a combination of beautiful florals that instantly attract the senses.
Honey is perhaps the most reminiscent of Mariah herself, referencing her hit single of 1997. Notes of honey and pineapple unite with white freesia to form a beautiful, bright fragrance.
Almost as important as the scents themselves, the bottle designs are truly inspired. Vibrantly coloured bottles in red, yellow and rainbow hint at what fans can expect to smell with just one spritz. To add that extra Mariah touch, a signature butterfly adorns the top of each bottle.
The playful candy theme of the scents is perfect for fun-loving girls who are not afraid to be a bit flirty. Each fragrance is available in a 30 ml bottle and priced at $49.00 RRP.
The Lollypop Bling range will be available across Australia from September 26, 2010 at Myer, The Perfume Connection and selected pharmacies. Head to lollypopbling.com.au for further information.
