Jennifer Hawkins Opens First Stage of the New Myer Melbourne Store

Last night (Thursday 14 October), the $300 million Myer Melbourne store, officially opened to customers today, celebrated with a VIP Spring Racing Shopping party with Jennifer Hawkins as the star attraction.  The two newly revamped floors of the Bourke Street Store will be home to women’s shoes, accessories and Australian and International fashion.

To help Jen celebrate, she was joined by Myer Australian Designers Yeojin Bae, Arabella Ramsey, Nicola Finetti, Toni Maticevski, Teresa Liano, Nina Maya, Magdalena Velevska, Jane Lamerton, Charlie Brown and the Manning Cartell girls, along with milliners Richard Nylon, Kerrie Stanley, Kim Fletcher, Melissa Jackson, Yuri Finkel and Gregory Ladner all on hand to give their Spring Racing tips for the 150th Melbourne Cup!

Myer\’s face of NF by Nicola Finetti, Lauren Phillips, was MC and was joined on stage by Jen modeling some pretty Spring Racing Fashion as well as the winner of Australia\’s Next Top Model and the new face of Levi\’s Curve ID, Amanda Ware, Myer Fashions on the Field Ambassador and milliner Rachel Swann-Holland and the face of Charlie Brown, Laura Dundovic.

The models were made up by my favourite make up brand Benefit and I will have the looks and lowdown for you on how to recreate them next week including some images of Amanda Ware!

    I wasn’t there for the launch although I was invited, I couldn’t squeeze a trip down to Melbourne for it.

  2. what did you think of the store? I think Myer will actually give DJ’s a run for its money in Burke Street.. I think they’ve done a really nice job of it.
