Last night (30th November) it was the The 2010 annualÂ GQ Men of the Year Awards held at the Sydney Opera House and a big congratulations to Ryan Kwanten who was named GQ Man of the Year and for holding up well after flying in yesterday and flying straight back to LA today.
It was all about the men last night, bow ties and tuxedo’s but the women also shone on the red carpet including the glamboyant Lara Bingle sporting a girlie style tux with a Dion Lee Suit, Chanel shoes, American apparel belt and home made tie – go Lara – and showing off her newly cropped blonde locks!
Underbelly actor Firass Dirani won TV Actor of the Year and looked very suave and sexy in his eggplant Gucci blazer.
TV foodie Curtis Stone was presented with an award for Chef of the Year by his mother Lorraine Coles, and Josh Thomas won in the comedian category.
Matt Preston was awarded for Critic Of The Year, Vanishing Elephant were awarded for Fashion Designer Of The Year, Blue Tongue Films won for Creative Force of the Year, Wyatt Roy and Malcolm Turnbull won for Policitian Of The Year at the 2010, Birds of Tokyo awarded the Band Of The Year and Sam Smith is Artist Of The Year.
Spotted on the red carpet we saw; Pia Miller, Radha Mitchell, Elyse Taylor, Nicole Trunfio, Sophie Low, Gracie Otto, Claudia Carvan, Jessica McNamee, Kelly Landry, Delfina Blaquier, Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras, Erica Heynatz and Jason Dundas.
