Local model Tiah Eckhardt and her partner Patrick Delaney are on the cover and inside Inked Australia’s Fashion Issue No. 5 photographed by Jason Ierace at the Vanguard Theatre in Newtown.
Interviewed by the lovely Vanessa Morgan, Tiah Eckhardt and Patrick Delaney share their tatts and what makes them happiest; finding a home in Sydney for themselves and their one year old daughter.
Tiah admits: “Sometimes I think maybe I\’d be saner and more secure [if I did something other than modelling], but I can\’t help but be grateful for everything my career has given me. On top of travelling and earning a living, I think I\’m a much stronger person because of it. I have thicker skin, and I can put things to do with self-image – something I think all women deal with – into greater perspective.”
We learn that Tiah has cherries tattooed by her ear and a pinup girl on her leg and her nickname ‘Belle-Laide\’ on her wrist that translates to ‘non-conventional beauty\’.
Looking incredibly soft and channeling a 1960’s glamour queen in the editorial, we see Tiah wearing Alex Perry, Wheels & Doll Baby and Vintage Gucci.
