The nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards have been announced and for Best Picture category there is a massive 10 films against one another with James Franco and Anne Hathaway the hosts for the evening!

Excitingly we have Nicole Kidman up for Best Actress, Geoffrey Rush for Best Actor and Jacki Weaver for Best Supporting Actress, I’m happiest the most for Jacki Weaver, this is just awesome. Her first nomination at 65 yo, but we’ve known how amazing she is over here for such a long time!

Leading the pack this year is The King\’s Speech, garnering 12 nominations, closely followed by the Western remake True Grit receiving 10 nominations.
