| 9 February , 2011 | 2 Replies

Laura Dundovic is in her fifth season as Brand Ambassador for Charlie Brown’s latest Collection, the Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection, titled “Charm School Lunatics” the campaign brings to life a tale of high end luxury and glamour, where Studio 54 fever meets sophisticated siren.

With six stories to the collection you can be a; Daddy\’s Girl, Rebel with a Cause, It Girl, The Runaway, Eclectic Youth or Headstrong with Laura channeling Farrah Fawcett (we also see this theme on DJ’s runway last night), Jerry Hall and Madonna in the AW2011 campaign.

Daddy\’s Girl is a medley of subtle floral silks and ladylike qualities. A French pastel palette of nudes and soft grape is brought to life with a strong injection of black noir. Scalloped lace chiffon, ruching and feather detail features heavily throughout the story with a bold stripe silk print complimenting the Daddy\’s Girl pieces perfectly.

Rebel with a Cause pays homage to the military trend currently on catwalks around the world. Khaki, crisp white and desert toned prints are the base for the story which boasts motif panelled cargo pants, hooded anoraks offset with Palazzo pants. Charlie\’s signature animalistic prints are given a denim edge with modern stud detail.

Bold striped Ponte and provocative lace panelling feature throughout the monotone story of It Girl, bringing clean strong lines to bombshell status. Geometric digital prints modernise pussy bow blouses and body con jersey wrap dresses.

Headstrong is the final story within the ‘Charm School Lunatics\’ collection full of classic lines and smart structure. Mustard, steel and black are mixed within subtle yet striking prints of Botticelli inspiration. The essential ‘Pure\’ Wool Military Coat is a classic piece never to date. A quirky Flamingo print within the ‘Headstrong\’ story offers a little fun and breaks up the story.

The Charlie Brown Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection is in-store now and is available nationally at Myer and Charlie Brown stores as well leading Australian boutiques.  Visit the website for your nearest stockist or for more information:
