Erin Wasson Launches Low Luv Jewellery in Sydney

Sunday night (February 20th) international model, Erin Wasson, took time out from her holiday in Sydney to celebrate the Australian launch of her Low Luv jewellery collection.

Why Erin decided to create her own range: “I have too much going on in my brain to just be a face, an image, without a voice behind it.”

At an intimate event (that I was invited to but sadly was unable to attend) at the Trilby Phoenix Paddington store guests cooled off with ginger beer as Erin chatted about her favorite pieces in the collection (a necklace with a cigarette lighter as a pendant!) and her recent time at New York Fashion Week. Dressed in her signature cut off denim shorts, white tank and plenty of Low Luv jewellery, Erin was relaxed and was looking forward to hitting the beach again although our weather has been rather average in Sydney since Sunday.

Erin’s Low Lov collection took the internet world by storm with her naked photos of herself modelling her collection.  The Autumn/Winter 2011 collection range contains inspiration from the “Thunderbird” and “Evil Eye”. The collection uses a hammered technique to portray fine, yet sharp detail in each unique piece of jewellery. Wasson\’s distinctively streetwise style speaks through each piece, putting a modern spin on her ages-old inspiration.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 Low Luv Collection will be available in selected boutiques around Australia from April 2011, visit Trilby Phoenix website for more.
