Last night Collette Dinnigan showed her Automne-Hiver 2011 collection at Paris Fashion Week. Her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection encapsulates the mystique of a woman with bold colours and graphic lines trace the mystique of an ingenious artist – vibrantly feminine, innately talented, ultimately creative.
Once again delivering an incredibly stylish and glamorous collection, “Portrait of a Woman” showcases a kaleidoscope of textures, a richness of silhouettes reminiscent of eras past and prints that encapsulate a uniquely sophisticated turn.
Structured shapes and sumptuous tailoring hark to the athletic luxe of true Argentinean equestrian, tradition re-imagined in the chimerical fabrications of leaden lace jodhpurs and metallic jacquard bustle back skirts.
Belle blossom, Italian lace brocade, noir French lace, Venetian wool suiting, Rococo embroidered organza and forest fur – an interfusion of texture and tradition, light and shade.
Ahhh Collette you deliver again, such grown up elegance!
