Twilight hottie, Ashley Greene is on the cover and inside Glamour Magazine’s May 2011 issue wearing Nanette Lepore and JCrew cardigan photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath. Her editorial inside is titled “The Bombshell” and she is very much that!
Inside Ashley shares: “I\’m a big believer in \’everything happens for a reason.\’ I\’m not saying it wasn\’t hard. I lived off Lean Cuisine and had no furniture and shared a bedroom with a girl for a year. I ran up my credit card. But every time I thought, I\’m going to fail, something happened that kept me here.”
Ashley also shares how it will be challenging to redefine her career after being part of the Twilight phenomenon: It is difficult because people look at you as that character. I want to play a role of a 24-year-old woman, not 17-year-old girls. So I have picked a couple of films like Butter to show that. And it\’s perfectly fine not to do anything for a year if I don\’t find the right thing.
Later this year we are set to see her step out of Alice Cullen’s shoes and see her starring in a new comedy, Butter which is a comedy set in the Midwest US, where an adopted girl discovers her talent for butter carving and finds herself pitted against an ambitious local woman in their town’s annual contest. Also starring in “Butter” will be Olivia Wilde and our very own Hugh Jackman!
