Karl Lagerfeld: Hotel Suite Made of Chocolate for Magnum Ice Cream

| 29 April , 2011 | 1 Reply

Continuing with US assault by Karl Lagerfeld and Magnum Ice Cream, Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled a hotel suite in Paris made entirely out of chocolate including a very yummy looking Baptiste Giabiconi.

The Cut reveals that the Paris hotel room is made from 10.5 tons of Belgian chocolate, there’s a chocolate chair, chocolate  rug, a chocolate table, and a chocolate Baptiste reclining on the chocolate bed in white chocolate briefs, holding a chocolate Magnum ice cream bar in one hand!

It’s well known that Karl loves his chocolate but won’t eat it and would love to bottle the scent as a fragrance and so it really is a match made in heaven, but surely he’s tried at least one magnum ice cream?

This project is part of the Magnum Ice Cream campaign to launch the divine dessert on a stick that we’ve been enjoying for years and years and years (can you believe we had something before the US?) with Rachel Bilson.

We saw the first video of Rachel Bilson and Baptiste Giabiconi unveiled last week, it’s not been appreciated for the parody that it is very much.  There’s two more short-films to come out, I’m expecting one this weekend, but here’s Photo Mood in case you missed it:
