Once again Kooey have managed to create an incredible campaign lookbook with their latest collection, “Desert Dreaming and Sunset Collections,” featuring their brand ambassador Emily Cattermole with James O’Halloran and Miss Universe Australia 2010 Jesinta Campbell, photographed by Meiji Nguyen in the outback of Alice Springs (bravery award with all those desert animals being super friendly). The distinctive Indigenous Australian dot-art prints continue to feature throughout every Kooey swimwear collection and are designed by artist Anne Hanning Kngwarreye.
Anne was inspired by the wild landscape and rich colour palette of the Australian Central Desert. Picking up the rich pinks and oranges, golden yellows, tans and ochres, fiery reds, flamboyant crimsons and purple shadows, the prints pay respect to the many layers of the desert.
The nod to high fashion swimwear collection includes separates and one-pieces, as well as matching resort wear including kaftans, cover-ups, pants and tees.
