Givenchy’s Dahlia Noir Fragrance On Counter

Dahlia Noir is the new fragrance by Givenchy and the first developed under the creative direction of Riccardo Tisci featuring a harness-clad Mariacarla Boscono as the face of the campaign.

Taking inspiration from the mysterious radiance of a woman whose dark beauty shines forth like a black sun, Dahlia Noir evokes sensuality and femininity.

Imagine a sleek red silk gown, adorned with the most magnificent diamonds and strappy heels to match. Quite powdery at first sniff, Dahlia Noir heralds a return to chic, ultra-luxurious French perfumery.

This floral chypre fragrance is based on rose, iris and mimosa, enriched with utterly contemporary woody facets.  Like an olfactory interfacing, sandalwood and patchouli then lend depth to the mellow volatility of the powdery weft, blended and tonka bean. The presence of Indian sandalwood, a sacred substance propels this couture olfactory opus into a mystical dimension.

Cased in an elegant bottle with spare architectural lines and perfectly balanced proportions, it is timeless. Black, powder pink and the white gleam of metal: these are the three elements that define the strict, stark graphic identity of Dahlia Noir.
