Tiffany & Co. opened its newly designed flagship store at 267 Collins Street in the heart of Melbourne\’s premier shopping district last week celebrating 10 years in Collins Street (2001). To help them celebrate Vanessa Amorosi, Ricki-Lee Coulter and Yeojin Bae walked the red carpet.

The festivities included Tiffany Blue carts that distributed hot chocolate in Tiffany Blue cups; newspaper vendors wearing Tiffany Blue scarves; and in a nod to the famous carriages in New York\’s Central Park, a horse-drawn Tiffany Blue carriage and models dressed in Holly Golightly\’s little black dress and Tiffany jewels.

“We wanted to send a strong and celebratory message that Tiffany has designed a flagship store that honours our history in Melbourne and gives our many customers here a modern new environment in which to discover the jewellery for which Tiffany is world-renowned,” said Glen Schlehuber, Managing Director, Tiffany & Co. Australia.

The store is constructed on three levels totalling approximately 1,250 square meters. Tiffany architects and designers have incorporated elements of Tiffany\’s famous New York flagship store, including carved glass and metal screens in the wheatleaf pattern that distinguishes the entrance to the Fifth Avenue store. At night, the Collins Street store\’s façade is brilliantly lit, a symbol of the radiant jewels within.

Isn’t it just beautiful?
