Directed By: Luke Greenfield
Starring: Ginnifer Goodwin, Kate Hudson, Colin Egglesfeild, John Kranski
Sassi\’s Star Rating:  2/5

Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Darcy (Kate Hudson) have been best friends as long as they can remember. And as long as Rachel can remember Darcy has always gotten everything Rachel wanted: an acceptance to the college of her dreams, the lifestyle of her dreams, and even the man of her dreams.  But when Rachel and Darcy\’s fiancé Dex (Colin Egglesfeild) share a drunken fling the night of her birthday party, things begin to get complicated.

Rachel must decide whether to pursue her last chance with the man she has loved since college or stand by her friend of double as long.

Something Borrowed is a little too light on the laughs to be your average girl\’s night in rom-com. With a script full of characters so annoyingly unlikeable there\’s not much to cling to in this flailing film. A shout out to comedic gems Steve Howey (Brides Wars) and Ashley Williams (the upcoming Scents and Sensibility) who keep the film afloat and the jokes rolling.

Something Borrowed is out on DVD now
