I know Charlie’s Angels starring our very own Rachael Taylor has been axed but Yves Saint Laurent’s Key Make up Artist Bret Boreman was on-set with Rachael and snapped this photo of her looking incredibly glamboyant in YSL Beauty products (this look aired last week). So I got the lowdown on how you can replicate her look direct from YSL Beauty. The lipstick is from the new YSL Rouge Pur Couture Collection currentlyon counters and features Ginta Lapina in the campaign:
“Red is an emotion so complete that it cannot be shared. The opposite of red ? A feeling of indifference, of absence.” – Stefano Pilati, Yves Saint Laurent Creative Director
To start off with, for your complexion, apply YSL’s Perfect Touch Foundation (RRP$85) and Touché Éclat Highlighter (RRP$55).
Next use a sweep of the YSL Blush Radiance No.1 (RRP$72) to highlight your cheeks.
For your eyes you can use YSL’s Ombre Solo No.1 Midnight Black (RRP$49) sweeping to the crease. Next line the lash line with a smokey eye pencil and finish off with lashings of Luxurious Shocking Mascara (RRP$52).
Finish off the Lips with Rouge Pur Couture No.7 Le Fuchsia (RRP$50) and voila you are now a Charlie’s Angel, albeit an axed one 🙁
The look is so very easy to achieve and the new ROUGE PUR COUTURE Collection is made up of eighteen shades of red lipsticks enriched by the many emotions they inspire, from the most delicate to the most extreme. Divided into three families: reds, fuchsias and oranges. Radiant, vibrant shades that announce your presence.
“The red is mainly the colour of emotion. Among the reds, one can find all the emotions. Everything is more intense in red.” – Stefano Pilati
