Bondi means different things to different people and Bondi Republic photographer Ali Nasseri gives us a sneak peek into the free-spirited larger than life Sydney suburb that is made up of many a character!  This book will show you the ‘real’ Bondi through the lens of an insider and looks at Bondi’s culture rather than just the ‘beach’ front.

Bondi’s residents is a melting pot of cultures, all walks of life are part of the culture of Bondi. The book takes you on a journey into the heart and soul of Bondi, from the beach front to the markets and down to the back streets of Bondi where all the ‘regular’ folk live and discover what goes on when the sun goes down.

Written and designed by Andrew Hoyne who is the principal and creative director of the branding agency Hoyne, established in 1991. Andrew has created brand identities for iconic Australian companies and received over 200 awards. In his spare time, Andrew has produced twelve books. Several of these have been bestsellers.

The beautiful photography was lensed by Ali Nasseri was born in Tehran, Iran 1975. He came to Australia at the age of seven. His work has been hung in Hyde Park twice as part of the photographic festival Sydney Life – most recently with an image from this book. He has self-published three books.
