Oyster Magazine has revealed their #97 cover star as pint-sized actress Christina Ricci as photographed by Gergory Harris and styled by contributing editor Stevie Dance in New York, wearing on the front cover Dolce & Gabbana dress and bra. Inside The Pan Am star shares just how tiny she is by confirming she can squeeze into an overhead locker! She says she loves the show and that they spend about 60 percent of their time on a stage they call ‘the hangar\’.
“There\’s a plane that was built inside the hangar and we shoot all the plane interiors there … and we use digital effects to make it look like wherever it is we\’re supposed to be going.”
They spend 17 hours a day on set and Christina loves to play ‘dead’ on set all the time sharing:
“It\’s a 17-hour day. That\’s when most of the fun stuff happens, when you\’re on the plane& And being in those costumes you really feel silly anyway, so I started a photo series called ‘Dead Stewardess\’, where I will randomly throw myself into different positions in different parts of the plane and pretend I\’m dead, and my dresser takes pictures.”
The mostly black & white editorial and really fun interview can be seen on their website, I recommend you go and visit.
