Here’s our first look at the Katy Perry’s latest ghd campaign continues the fairytale theme this time we see her channeling a mermaid as photographed by David LaChapelle under the Brooklyn Bridge (check out the Behind the Scene pics below).Â The campaign is for the “ghd air”, the brand’s first ever hairdryer and will only be available in Australia next month.
Katy shared her excitement about the theme for this campaign:
“I love it because I\’m such a fan of the Disney movies. Ariel is such a big influence. It\’s always fun to dress up once in your lifetime as a mermaid and have that fish fin tail. It was fun – I got to have purple hair which foreshadowed the real purple hair I had last fall. It\’s as if Lisa Frank had done The Little Mermaid.”
