On Counter: Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial L\’eau is Highly Addictive

Guerlain Shalimar Parfum Initial L\’eau is Guerlain\’s new fragrance based on the original Shalimar Initial (2011) and is a modern, lighter and drier version of fragrance. The scent was composed as a new initiation into sensuality and innocence and is perceptibly fresher, more velvety and with tender accents chosen by Thierry Wasser and for us the powder scent at the top is incredibly addictive. The campaign features the glamboyant Natalia Vodianova as the face.

On first spray, the scent is a powdery vanilla with top notes of citrusy bergamot. The mid-notes are floral with Damascena rose, vibrant iris and jasmine. The base notes of tonka bean and smooth vanilla are clear and make for a mature, but classic smelling scent. The scent would work well in the day in both summer and winter.

Shalimar Parfum Initial L\’Eau’s bottle  is the exact same style as Shalimar Parfum Initial, only in a lighter hue with a baby pink ribbon on the neck (instead of a greyish blue one) bearing the familiar G medaillon with the addition of a gorgeous powdery pink tassel attached to its neck.

The L’eau edition is available now in a Limited Edition 60ml bottle for an RRP$111, for your nearest stockist call 02-9695 4800.
