Olivia Palermo’s Les Cascades de Rochas Fragrance Campaign

I’m so excited, I’ve been waiting for this campaign to come through since we first heard that Olivia Palermo was going to the face of a new fragrance by Rochas and here it is as revealed by WWD. The new fragrance, Les Cascades de Rochas, steming from the lineage of eaux: Eau de Rochas Fraîche from 2010 and Eau Sensuelle from 2009. The two were modern reinterpretations of Eau de Rochas — created in 1970 by Nicolas Mamounas — which remains the brand\’s bestseller.

Photographed by Camilla Akrans by the fountain outside of the Paris\’ Palais Royal the campaign took the inspiration from Apollo\’s fountain in Delphi.

The fresh new fragrance is described as a modern scent with a contemporary twist with the hope that the scent and Olivia will bring a younger consumer to the brand. With notes of Sichuan pepper with pineapple, mango, white flowers and bergamot.  The second part of the new scent\’s name is Eclat d\’Agrumes (or burst of citrus, in English), because Rochas\’ in-house perfumer Jean-Michel Duriez dreamed up the fragrance\’s idea while visiting Sicily.

The fragrance will launch in France in May and other European countries from July. Hope we get it here in Australia, would definitely love to try this fragrance.
