Join Ruby Rose for the inaugural Nike “She Runs The Night” 13km run in Sydney this Thursday May 3rd at Sydney’s iconic Centennial Park, the run that encourages women to run together in a safe environment.
“Nike wanted to motivate women to lace-up and discover the excitement and enjoyment of night running with their friends,” Nike Pacific Marketing Director Juliana Nguyen said.
“Many female runners told us that they were searching for a running event with a difference so Nike created She Runs The Night to challenge female runners to run in a new way.
The race will start at 7pm at the Royal Hall of Industries in the Entertainment Quarter and then wind its way around Centennial Park and joining Ruby will be Race Ambassador Veronica Amtelmi:
“I have run around Centennial Park many times during the day but never at night. She Runs The Night allows me to run this iconic circuit under lights with friends, and have a great time doing it,” she said.
To coincide with the race, Nike have recently released the Nike Free Run +3 running shoe that features a new customizable fit system with a modified arch, dynamic fit construction that wraps the arch of your foot for a glove like fit. The seamless upper provides lightweight support and the new style provides ventilation. The sole’s natural movement is enhanced to offer more natural flexibility and increased foot strength and comes in a divine pink, which is very Sassi indeed!
