COVERGIRL have collaborated with Olay again to create a 2 in 1 foundation called Tone Rehab Foundation, where make up meets skincare that started with their Simply Ageless anti-aging range as fronted by my favourite person in the whole world, Ellen Degeneres.
The Tone Rehab formula combines sphere technology which optically blurs visible contrast edges and smooths out rough surfaces while creating a radiant soft focus effect on the skin aimed at reducing the appearance of discolorations on the skin. Teamed with an Olay serum that hydrates your skin (I am a big hydrator just as an FYI) and anti-oxidants that include Vitamin E and Green Tea, that will give your skin a boost of protection from surface free radicals.
The product seemlessly glides and blends onto the skin, giving a lovely coverage that’s not too heavy. Being a tinted moisturiser kind a gal, I like the creaminess and lightness of the coverage of this product. Some online reviews have mentioned after a couple of hours the product gives off an oily sheen but it didn’t do that for me, am wondering whether it’s more suited to older skin that could be a bit drier or may be they needed a setting powder straight off after applying if their skin tends to oil up. Overall I found it a good base to work with, I needed to use an eye primer for eye make up ’cause it is a hydrating product.
Available in 6 shades covering light to deep skin tones: Classic Ivory, Creamy Natural, Buff Beige, Natural Beige, Medium Beige and Golden Tan.
