Masterchef success story Marion Grasby (from the second series) has seen her release a cookbook, ‘Marion: Recipes and Stories from a Hungry Cook,’ and now a successful product range, Marion’s Kitchen Food Range, which she counts as one of her biggest achievements to date. With over 28 thousand fans on her facebook page, Marion asked her fans to vote for the product they’d like to most see on their local supermarket shelves and Singapore Noodles was the outstanding winner.

So off she trotted overseas to search for the best ingredients for the new dish, tasting more noodle dishes than one person should in a lifetime, Singapore Noodles was born as an easy step-by-step recipe for home cooks:

“Creating our Singapore Noodles dish because of requests from our fans on social media has been pretty surreal,” said Marion. “I can’t wait to see how it goes! When I started Marion’s Kitchen 12 months ago, I could never have imagined I would be developing new recipes from requests through Facebook.”

Marion’s Singapore Noodle pack includes a mild, yet packed-with-flavour curry powder, vermicelli noodles, baby corn pieces and Marion’s own unique blend of stir-fry sauce. Marion recommends adding thinly sliced Chinese BBQ pork and fresh prawns to the mix but I added chicken thigh to mine and next time will be adding BBQ Pork.

The recipe was really delicious even my Dad who can be a bit fussy at times, loved it … my version was a bit dry but I did go a bit overboard on the ingredients adding more in than was recommended, and I mixed the egg step into the noodles too soon but overall it was incredibly delicious and so easy to make with the easy four steps making it a breeze to prepare and cook a flavorsome and ingredient packed one pot meal.

Marion’s Kitchen Food Range (RRP$6.99 ea) is also available in; Pad Thai, Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry, Thai Basil & Chilli Stir-Fry and San Choy Bow and are available nationally from Woolworths, Coles and selected Drakes, Foodland, IGA and Franklins supermarkets.

You can visit Marion’s website, follow her on twitter and join in the food loving conversation on her facebook page, she’s currently doing a collaboration with American Express where you can cook up a Mystery Box recipe and post to her page.
